about our company

Welcome to 604-TRASH-IT®. We are a junk removal company out of Vancouver. We service Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Moody and New Westminster.
We pride ourselves on trying to recycle anything that can be, either by donation to local charities, or by recycling items that most people - due to their busy schedules - simply throw away in the trash.
We provide clean trucks, fast responses and send out friendly, uniformed crews that show up on time and get it done right.
If you have old junk or rubbish that you need to get rid of, call us or e-mail us today for a free estimate.

Chris O’Brien 604-TRASH-IT® was founded in January, 2004. Chris, who was then 23 at the time, had been working in the industry for over a year. Seeing there was a need in the Vancouver market for a junk removal company that put an emphasis on recycling, he got to work and began as a one-man-and-a-truck operation in March of that year. Over the next two years the company was able to grow to two trucks and as of May 2008 now has a fleet of four. Active in the business community, Chris is a member of The Vancouver Board of Trade, and has helped maintain the companies original commitment to recycling and the environment by steering 604-TRASH-IT® towards such partnerships as with the Recycling Council of British Columbia, and continuing to think LOCAL. |

Silas White Silas joined 604-TRASH-IT® in the winter of 2005. After hiring us to take away junk for her friend on a Saturday afternoon, it somehow came up that she was looking for a job, so she started working for us on Monday morning. Working as a Navigator for over a year, she began Driving, eventually taking on the role of Truck Operations Manager. An accomplished builder, Silas’ vast knowledge of various trades has allowed 604-TRASH-IT® to gain a good reputation with contractors in the lower mainland, as well as the ability to take on light demo jobs that in the past we were unable to do. |

TOA TOA has altogether too much style be a mere company mascot. And though at times he may seem quite indifferent to the whole thing – other dogs, the universe – you always know he’s got your back. |
