1.What is 604-TRASH-IT? 1. What is 604-TRASH-ITWe are a junk removal company based out of Vancouver, BC. For a fee we will haul away any items you no longer have any use for. 2. What materials do you take?604-TRASH-IT will dispose of almost anything providing that it is non-hazardous. This includes construction and renovation debris, household junk, yardwaste, appliances, etc: 3. What don't you take?
4. How do you charge?We charge based on the volume your debris takes up in our truck. View our Rates. 5. How big is your truck?We operate a 1 ton truck with a 15 cubic yard bin built on the back. The bin is 10 feet long, 8 feet wide and 5 feet tall. 6. Can you quote me a price before you arrive?Because we charge by the volume we can't give you a firm quote until we see what needs to go. We will be happy however to explain our rates over the phone as well as provide a free estimate. 7. How are appointments scheduled?When you call 604-TRASH-IT we will book a time that suits your schedule. Depending on the amount of jobs booked already that day we may ask for a ½ hour window. This helps should traffic conditions be poor or if jobs take longer than expected. 8. Can you do the job for me if I'm not on site?Every situation is different. But, for the most part, it isn't a problem. We will call you upon our arival, give you a quote before we proceed, and take your credit card number over the phone. 9. What are your hours?We book our first job for 8:00 in the morning and our last job for 5:00pm. However this may vary in the winter for it is unsafe for our drivers to work in the dark. 10. What do you do with the junk?It depends what you have. We will recycle anything that can be recycled, while most items are disposed of at the dump. If the item is in decent shape it may be donated to chairity. 11. Do you do moving?No. We are not licensed to do moving. The truck is a junk truck and therefore it is not always very clean inside. 12. What equipment does you truck come with?2 to 3 labourors, shovels, brooms, rakes, garbage bins, various other tools and a dolly. The truck is also equiped with a ramp. 13. Why not just rent a dumpster?2 to 3 labourors will do all of the loading and clean-up. With bin rentals you are forced to do the work yourself, finding space on your property to put it, and paying for the entire volume of the dumpster whether you fill it or not. 14. How can I pay?We accept Cash, Check, Visa or MasterCard. Whatever is easiest for you. Please note however that our drivers do not carry change. 15. Are you licensed and insured?Yes. We are fully licensed and insured with Workers Comp, General Liability and Auto Insurance. |
